Role Overview
The System Architect is responsible for defining and delivering the shared technical and architectural vision for the Agile Release Train (ART). As TP ICAP is a global organization, there will be a requirement to work with geographically distributed teams, and support global deployments as part of the overall architecture.
The technology includes systems (applications, processes and information), shared infrastructure services, shared application services, and their effective integration and reuse across TP ICAP. The System Architect is working to align Feature teams to the Architecture roadmap, and ensure the systems under development support the evolving business need and enables fast reliable implementation of value.
As a core role steering the wider team alongside the Release Train Engineer (RTE) & Product Managers, the System Architect collaborates with the Feature teams to design and develop the architecture and create the Architecture Runway in line with Enterprise standards, patterns and roadmaps.
The role will involve technical leadership with the expectation that the successful candidate will assist in developing skills within teams, and nurturing existing talent. This will include providing expertise on engineering and architecture best practices relating to platforms and user interface delivery.
