Job Description Summary: Assists with the provision of quality patient care and performs required administrative tasks. May act as a preceptor for orientation and training of new staff, float staff and students as directed. Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or five years of equivalent experience, required. Licensure Requirement: Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Certifications: CPR certified (American Heart Association Heart saver with pediatric content) course, or Health Care Provider course or Red Cross equivalent, required.
