The Licensing Specialist I will be responsible for managing and processing a variety of licensing and registration tasks, including initial licensing, state transfers, buyouts, and title management. You will research, resolve, and act on requests for general case types, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner. What will you be doing? Works and resolves Licensing cases related to Registration Management, Initial Licensing, Title Management, UCC Filings, and State Changes / Buyouts Researches and resolves client Licensing requests, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction Monitors, prioritizes, and manages cases and workload Utilizes the DMV Terminal as needed to complete cases efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and processes Effectively manages time and consistently meets deadlines with some guidance from supervisor Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and effectiveness in work Demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to doing quality work Adjusts quickly to new or changing assignments, processes and people Displays professionalism and remains composed when faced with challenges Learns from experience; modifies behavior to be more effective Recognizes one's own strengths and opportunities for growth Solves a range of problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using standard procedures What are we looking for? High School Diploma or equivalent required, a degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred. Additional education, certifications, or experience are a plus. Works and resolves Licensing cases such as Registration Management, Initial Licensing, Title Management, UCC Filings, State Changes / Buyouts, and other similar cases Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Previous experience in case management, administrative support, or customer service is a plus. Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, fax machines, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc. 2-4 years' experience in case management, administrative support, or customer service related fields Proficiency in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department Prior experience in a research of case management role with high level of detail oriented work is a plus Understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software may be required Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and security Knowledge of DMV procedures and vehicle-related transactions is a plus #LI-CD1 At Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
