Responsibilities

Provides immediate, high acuity care to pregnant patients, specializing in rapid assessment, triage, labor management, and fetal monitoring in the obstetrical emergency department.

Requirements

Registered Nurse in State of Georgia

Master's or Doctor in Nurse Practice with successful completion of nurse midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM).

Board certified by American Midwifery Certification Board

Eighteen (18) months experience as a certified nurse midwife.

Previous experience as a labor and delivery registered nurse
