The skills you'll need
Additionally, you'll demonstrate:
At least 15 years of experience in container orchestration and cloud-native environments, including Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, combined with strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and service mesh technologies like Istio
Proficient in end-to-end application development and deployment, with skills in PostgreSQL database optimization, CI/CD automation, configuration management, and programming using Java, Python, and Helm Charts for Kubernetes packaging and deployment
Experience of leading the implementation of programming best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
Sound collaboration skills with the ability to work with business teams to produce pragmatic solutions that work for the business
Experience of information security policies and practices within the financial sector
Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple way
