Position Information Hiring Manager: Associate Director Department: Investor Communications Department Overview The Investor Communications Group supports the Firm's capital raising efforts across various products, strengthening its relationship with investors and contributing to the overall growth of the Firm. The group is responsible for investor services and acts as the liaison between clients and senior management. The department is also responsible for investor onboarding and is the primary point of contact for investor reporting and ongoing account maintenance. The group collaborates closely with department leadership, business unit heads and the Business Development and Marketing Groups to develop and execute plans in line with business objectives. Position Responsibilities The Vice President (or Assistant Vice President) ("VP" or "AVP") will join the Data Management Team ("DMT") within the Firm's growing Investor Communications ("IC") Department which serves as a key point of contact to the Firm's investor base. This role requires a motivated individual with a proactive approach to collaboration, the ability to manage tight deadlines as well as unparalleled attention to detail. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing a team of 7 employees who are dedicated to supporting investor onboarding, incoming / outgoing wire reconciliation and data maintenance across all product offerings Overseeing new investor subscriptions processing, routine account maintenance and transfers of interest and ensuring the team is meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Focusing on growth and development, capacity planning, driving priorities, issue resolution and overall team needs Leading strategic initiatives (e.g., Source of Funds Checks, Form PF enhancements, Escheatment remediation) acting as the key project oversight Liaising with internal departments including Fund Accounting, Treasury, Compliance and Investor Partners Group Collaborating daily with internal teams and colleagues on routine and ad-hoc activity Overseeing day-to-day team management and acting as the primary escalation point for the Team Lead Facilitating collaboration with Technology Solutions Team to drive system enhancement initiatives, to increase efficiency and reduce risks. Ad-hoc Investor Communications projects as needed Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree required 10+ years of related experience, ideally at a transfer agent, custodian or prime brokerage with exposure to alternative investments Previous management and people development experience required with the ability to motivate team members, especially during periods of high investor volumes Client-facing financial services experience with operations exposure preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus Technical skills and financial background are a strong plus Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables, learn quickly and escalate timely Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture Critical Competencies for Success Our Gold Standards define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically.
