Responsibilities

- Required Qualifications

- Be 18 years old or older.
- Be willing to work weekends, and holidays, if required.
- Be willing to work overtime (extra hours beyond your regular scheduled) if required.
- A current, valid US driver's license.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Texas Class B Exempt driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Pass a physical ability test prior to hire.
- The physical ability to lift hoses, climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs, bolt flanges, operate valves, fire pumps and other emergency equipment and vehicles as part of the job.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

- Firefighter 1 & 2 certification
- Industrial firefighting and rescue experience
- Certification in confined space / high angle rescue.

The Freeport site has over 3000 employees and is a 24 hour / 7 day operation including holidays.
