Evaluate and execute real estate related investments / corporate buyout opportunities in Asia-Pacific, with focus in Japan.
Perform market research and valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities in different real estate sectors, including office, residentials, shopping malls, warehouses, data centers and hotels.
Act as point person for acquisitions, work with senior management and coordinate analyst responsibilities.
Perform extensive due diligence on each transaction, including travelling to the properties, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors, and formulating investment strategies and business plans.
Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for Blackstone's Real Estate Private Equity Group's investment committee.
Participate in execution of transactions, including negotiations of contracts and agreements with sellers and financing banks.
Participate in both internal and external client meetings.
Assist asset managers in managing current investments, including analysing potential refinancing and exit opportunities.
Requirements

The successful candidate must have:
At least 2-3 years of finance experience with strong financial modeling capabilities; real estate investment experience is a plus, but not required.
The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and Japanese.
