Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in strategic sourcing initiatives and contract management.
Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or Oracle.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
APICS, CPSM, CPM, or related procurement/supply chain certification is a plus.
Experience with commodity management, cost modeling, and supply risk mitigation.
Experience with sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives.
Familiarity with digital tools and process enhancements in procurement.
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Experience in supplier development and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
As the Direct Materials Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for :
Develop and execute sourcing category strategies to support manufacturing operations, comply with product specifications and the LEGO Group's global standards , and deliver cost savings .
Collaborate across other regions and manufacturing sites to l ead end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier selection , negotiations, and contract management.
Conduct cost analysis and d evelop negotiation tactics t o ensure optimized materials cost structure in a high operating cost environment.
Lead supplier relationship management pro cess , monitoring and reporting performance and managing suppliers to the standard s of The LEGO Group .
Develop regional sourcing strategy that identifies and qualifies suppliers within proximity to the LEGO Manufacturing Virginia location .
Develop a risk resiliency road map by material category that Identif ies and mitigate s risks, includes cross functional insights, and ensur es business continuity.
Conduct cost, capacity, and supplier capability analysis in support of total cost of ownership evaluations to enhance collaboration with regional and global procurement leaders and to drive improved outcomes for the Virigina site.
Stakeholder Management , provide leadership and influenc e among internal stakeholder s to drive companywide cost initiatives in the Direct (BOM) spends.
Act as an a mbassado r of compliance ensure progress to the LEGO Group's Responsible Business Practices program and sustaina bility agendas .
