This is a very visible, significant role within the Company. This position will report to the Sr Business Support Manager EMEA and NA Life Sciences & Intermediates. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Commercial & Sales Support: Provide end-to-end business support to Sales and customers across Life Sciences (Pharma, Nutrition, Crop Care, I&S), including pricing management in Salesforce, coordination of contracts (commercial, QAA, supply), rebates and accruals, agents' commissions, and customer notifications Customer & Compliance Coordination: Coordinate all customer and distributor documentation (QA, Regulatory, EHS) and manage NDA/CDA processes, working closely with QA, Regulatory, Legal, Global Trade Compliance, and Technical teams Quality & Customer Requests: Handle quality-related processes and customer requests, including complaints in QIM, VCERs, sample requests, and coordination of customer audits with Plant QA Data, Systems & Account Support: Maintain and monitor customer data in SAP/Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and supporting global Key Accounts and S&OP/customer interactions Business Support & Continuous Improvement: Support business activities (seminars, CPhI, meetings, travel) and contribute to organizational goals through collaboration, continuous improvement, and effective stakeholder engagement Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: 2+ years of professional experience in the chemical industry in sales/marketing support, customer service, or a similar role Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Positive, proactive attitude Strong problem-solving skills High level of commitment and motivation Fluent English (written and spoken) Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
