The Test Engineer acts as the primary technical expert for the electrical Final Test. The majority of the test engineer's tasks and responsibilities directly and indirectly support ATCB objectives of Output, Quality, and Cost. The Test Engineer ensures that products are properly tested per specification with robust Test solutions.
Responsibilities
Engineering technical resource in terms of ATCB Test Engineering.
Electrical test qualification of test setup installations or transfers in support of ramp and capability
Ensures Test GR&R meets requirements and is maintained
Test overkills reduction and Test yield improvement
Owns the Test program changes, optimization, qualification and deployment
Ensures test jobs are aligned with official test specs and are implemented on a timely basis
Ensures that test capacity and yield entitlement targets are maintained
Implement or enhance Electrical testing solutions and methods
Supports systemic improvements for test-related production line issues
Supports Test yield breakthrough improvement through, test job, test method, test setup enhancement or test requirement rationalization
Leads qualification for new and enhancement of existing Test capabilities
Supports customer complaints investigation and 8D
Interfaces closely with BG Test in test improvement initiatives
Supports quality initiative programs for Test
Support resolution of test related issues related to product, testing and test jobs
Support qualification and RTP of setup in support of ramp and capability
Implement BG related quality firewalls for Final Test
Drives test improvement that requires cross functional teams from different AT sites (SRT, BEST Test cluster)
Interact with suppliers for improved machine, metrology, test equipment
Conducts training for test technicians and test engineers
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in ECE, ME, EE, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience in IC or PMOS semiconductor assembly or test processes.
Strong foundation in electronics fundamentals.
Background in PMOS/Power MOSFET testing.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, JMP, Minitab, etc.
Strong understanding of statistical tools and data analytics.
Knowledge of assembly processes, post-test operations, and burn-in is an advantage.
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
