Job Description Summary: Performs basic supportive care to specified patients and families under the direction and supervision of an RN or Care Manager. Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN or Care Manager. Job Description: Essential Functions: Collects, documents, and reports vital signs. May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned. Promotes general patient safety. Holds and positions patients and assists with procedures. Prepares materials and supplies as delegated. Remains compliant with HIPAA, maintains professionalism, and ensures confidentiality of patient information. Ensures environmental standards are met and all unit and patient areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained. Performs clerical and administrative tasks as necessary. Completes continuing education and participates in offered educational opportunities. May act as a preceptor and train other staff. Education Requirement: Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent licensure or experience, required. Licensure Requirement: Active State Tested Nurse Aide License in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience, required. Certifications: Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider), required.
