Experience in a healthcare or hospital IT environment. Demonstrated experience with:
Active Directory (users, groups, OUs, and Group Policy basics)
Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, licensing)
User account provisioning and deprovisioning workflows
Basic PowerShell or scripting for administrative task.
Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) principles and the principle of least privilege.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
Experience with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and hybrid identity environments.
Knowledge of ITSM ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). Experience with automated provisioning workflows or identity governance tools.

Job Description
The IT Specialist - Account Creation is responsible for the provisioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of user accounts across Active Directory, local systems, cloud platforms, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) applications. Ensures accurate and timely account administration in alignment with organizational security policies and access control standards. Operates as a key support resource for identity and access management processes, contributing to the secure and efficient operation of the organization's technology environment.
Minimum Requirements
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or the equivalent in combination of education and work experience.
Basic computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft applications, (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and audit trail maintenance.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA and organizational data privacy policies.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical processes to non-technical staff.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
