The Director of External Reporting will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of external reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing a team member dedicated to external reporting activities. Collaborative and Team-Oriented environment What Success Looks Like: Leads the preparation and filing of all external reports, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, and other required filings. Ensures compliance with SEC, GAAP, and other regulatory requirements. Manages the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and MD&A disclosures. Oversees the coordination and communication with external auditors during the review and audit processes. Monitors changes in external regulations and accounting standards, assess their impact on the company's financial reporting, and leads the implementation of necessary changes. Implements and maintains internal controls over financial reporting. Conducts research on technical accounting issues and document findings to support financial reporting and compliance. Provides guidance and training to staff on external reporting requirements and best practices. Works closely with other departments, including legal, investor relations, and corporate finance, to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Manages and mentors a direct report, providing support and development opportunities. Your Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA required. Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in external reporting and public accounting. Experience in managing and developing team members. Experience with OneStream a plus.
