Middleware Systems Senior Technical Lead

About the role

Required Skills: Proven experience as a WebSphere Administrator with Level 3 support responsibilities. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools). Expertise in installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of WebSphere Application Server in enterprise environments. Knowledge of working in both Windows and Linux environments Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Shell scripting, Python, Ansible). Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques for WebSphere Application Server. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams. Preferred Skills: Experience in working on application integration using WAS. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern application deployment patterns. Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Microsoft AZURE Cloud certifications) are advantageous.
