About the role
Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing in person and/or video counselling services for the TELUS Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Surrey. Deliver exceptional clinical services while embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning. Efficiently manage administrative requirements in accordance with the client's EAP model. Effectively manage intake processes, conduct thorough assessments, and develop effective treatment plans. Work independently within a shared office space alongside experienced clinicians. What You Bring: Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work. Registration with Professional College or Association Minimum of five years of post-master's clinical experience, supporting all client groups. Certified or extensively trained in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused therapeutic approach, along with other therapeutic approaches. Experience and ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others. Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage a large number of clients. Exceptional customer service focus, high professionalism, and adherence to ethical principles of conduct. Previous counselling experience working with professionals is an asset. Experience in utilizing performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction and optimize service delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility in working day/evening shifts. Proven ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. Ability to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities. Basic knowledge of computer systems. EAP industry experience is an asset.
