Responsibilities

  • Lead small-scale ( Design and execute advanced chromatography techniques and robust bioprocess development strategies to address production impurities and liabilities to deliver high quality biologics to therapeutic areas

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Chemical Engineering, or related field with typically 12+ years (BS), 10+ years (MS), or 4+ years (PhD) of experience
  • Deep proficiency in bioprocessing, column chromatography, and biotherapeutics manufacturing
  • Experience operating high throughput automated liquid handling systems for chromatography applications (i.e. plate-based screening, robocolumns)
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing DOE studies with successful application to protein production scale-up
  • Experience with chromatography instrumentation and software (i.e. Unicorn) is required
  • Experience developing bioinformatics tools and API's for real-time data acquisition, extraction, and storage in LIMS environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (i.e. Python) and AI/ML tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of molecular and post-translational attributes of biologics
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
