The Client Relations Manager role sits within the Private Markets distribution team and is designed as a client-facing position supporting senior National Account Managers. This role focuses on platform support, relationship coordination, client deliverables, and business development execution across wealth management channels (Wirehouse, Independent Broker Dealer, Private Bank, Platforms, and Enterprise RIAs). The position serves as a foundational development role for future National Account Managers, combining exposure to private equity, private credit, real estate, and related private market investment strategies with hands-on experience partnering with home office stakeholders and internal sales teams. How you will add value National Account & Client Support You will support assigned National Account Managers with day-to-day coverage of home office and platform relationships. You will act as a reliable point of contact for client inquiries, coordinating timely responses across internal teams (Sales, Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing). You will help manage client onboarding activities, including agreement review, compliance requirements, and operational readiness. You will maintain an organized pipeline of client deliverables (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc). Business Development & Platform Execution You will assist with platform placement initiatives by tracking product availability, due diligence status and shelf-space opportunities. You will prepare client-ready materials including presentations, business plans, activity reports, and product updates. You will support the execution of alternative investment launches, platform approvals, and distribution initiatives. You will help monitor and report on key business metrics such as pipeline activity, platform access, and upcoming opportunities. Client Engagement & Events You will coordinate and support client meetings, due diligence sessions, roadshows, and conferences. You will participate in client calls as appropriate, serving as an extension of the National Account Manager. You will draft proactive client communications related to product updates and firm initiatives. Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Development You will build strong working relationships across internal partners and affiliate investment managers. You will develop a working knowledge of Private Markets and alternative investment strategies, including their role in portfolio construction and the implications of limited liquidity. You will support process improvements and efficiency initiatives within National Accounts and Private Markets teams. What will help you be successful in this role Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in asset management, wealth management, sales support, client service, or a related financial services role Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines FINRA registrations (Series 7 and 63) Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and comfort working in a regulated environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
