About the role

Trinity College Gladstone OSHClub, is seeking an inspiring and motivated OSHC Assistant Coordinator to join our growing Helping Hands service. About your new role As an Assistant Coordinator, you'll help lead a team of passionate Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership: Design and help lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts. Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration. Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive. Be supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager, so you're never doing it alone. We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Must have obtained or be studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact Communicates clearly and confidently Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check Has Australian work rights National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko) At Junior Adventures Group, child safety and child safeguarding principles are our top priorities.
