JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY This position is for a high school teacher under contract with a district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy, or Washington counties to teach MCC Sociology courses for dual credit at their home high school. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: - Deliver MCC course objectives in the high school dual credit classroom - Ensure academic rigor aligns with on-campus expectations - Participate in departmental course assessments - Complete required curriculum training - Maintain an MCC-aligned course syllabus - Uphold professional and ethical standards MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Master's degree in the discipline or in a related discipline with a minimum 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. - Currently employed high school teacher who will be under contract with a local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties The specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
