3 - 5 years working experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial property, industry building, shopping centre in a similar capacity
Prior experience in Safety and Environmental Compliance is a plus
Education:
Diploma in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical or other rated disciplines, or equivalent professional training
Candidates without related certificates but with solid experience will also be considered
Registered Safety Manager or Officer with local or Hong Kong labour department or registered OSH Manager with a recognized institution is preferred
Skills/Competencies :
Good command in both written and spoken Cantonese/Mandarin and ability to read and communicate in English
Working knowledge in computer skills and use of all MS Office applications, including Outlook and PowerPoint presentation
Good technical knowledge of Central Chillers and HVAC systems, High Tension Switch Board, transformers and Generators, Control circuits and Audio-Visual Systems
Working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Systems, ELV systems, Steam and Hot Water Boilers, Plumbing & Drainage Systems, Water Treatment Program, Pool, Spa and Fitness Equipment and any other related systems
Preferably with AutoCAD drafting skills and other applications, such as, Jobs Order System, Engineering Maintenance Program and Purchasing System, but not essential
Holding of valid Macau Construction Industry Safety Card is an advantage
Good leadership and able to make sound decision and perform other duties as and when required very last minute and at time of emergency
Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills are required to deal effectively with all levels of staffs, contractors, suppliers and vendors
Hands-on and possess good problem solving skills and attend to details
Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
Frequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
Ability to work on overtime when needed

POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensure the proper operations and management of all plants, systems and equipment, building, landscape and gardens, and grounds at their optimum conditions. Also to ensure that life safety systems throughout the entire property are, at all times, on their readiness and maintain highest standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in keeping close monitoring of all operating expenses to ensure that the budget is adhered to and costs are strictly controlled
Review and submit daily Utilities Consumption Reports including taking appropriate actions for any abnormalities
Closely work with Security team for the planning and training to all staffs in the areas of Life Safety system. Regularly review the life safety procedures with Security Department. Ensure that all maintenance service, including breakdown rectification works of life safety systems are carried out immediately and accordingly with highest standards
Carry out all regular planned maintenance programs to all E&M systems, guestrooms, public areas, Heart of House etc. Also to ensure that the building, grounds, landscape and gardens, road surfaces and car park are inspected regularly as per standards
Regularly conduct departmental training program in accordance with a master training plan to all employees for them to perform their duties with maximum efficiency
Ensure employees attend all training and know their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies relating to Fire, Safety, Hygiene and Health
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
