For our business, for clients, and for you Regulatory Services Officer Apex Corporate & Advisory Services Limited Apex Corporate & Advisory Services Limited is looking for a suitable candidate to work in regulatory services in the Malta Office. The primary focus of the role will be in relation to compliance, risk management and middle office services to an established portfolio of clients in Malta. Job Specification The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities: Involvement in the preparation and compilation of the Regulatory compliance folder; Drafting of regulatory policies; Assisting with the implement ation of compliance monitoring requirements , including sample checking ; supporting the compliance function for regulated clients; u ndertaking of technical research which could impact clients and participating in technical meetings including presentation of regulatory matters ; Undertaking due diligence review, including tasks focused on proposed investments; Participating in client meetings, including Board Meetings; Maintaining up to date client files based on client developments and material information received ; Maintaining an up to date client schedule of deliverables; Preparation/updating of client regulatory deliverables; overseeing the preparation of client reports; reviewing of published information and marketing documents; participating in technical meetings including presentation of regulatory matters. As part of the growth potential, this role may lead to the take-on of approved regulatory Compliance Officer positions. Skills Required Candidates should: be in possession of a University Degree (MQF Level 6) or a professional qualification related to Law, Banking or Investment Services; hold experience in compliance within financial services; be knowledgeable in the applicable laws and regulations and their application particularly, AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID , and AML ; be goal driven and show initiative to work without continuous supervision; be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst keeping an eye on detail; possess good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills possess good organisational skills and be capable of working in a team; possess good time management skills.
