Lead all aspects of HR in Hungary, including employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement and recruitment
Partner with global HR and leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy
Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts for the Budapest office
Ensure compliance with Hungarian labor laws and employment regulations
Drive local implementation of global HR programs, policies, and initiatives
Partner with global HR Business Partners and local leadership to drive effective workforce planning and performance management, ensuring aligned headcount plans, high-quality and timely performance cycles, and strong talent outcomes across the Budapest office.
Assist the HRBP with performance management in EU offices
Work with the Office Manager on employee engagement activities
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters
Foster a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture aligned with CMT values

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or certification in a related field
7+ years of relevant HR experience, including HR Generalist responsibilities, preferably in a high-tech or global environment
3+ years of experience in a lead or management capacity preferred
Strong knowledge of Hungarian employment law and HR best practices
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across both HR and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
Experience using HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve people outcomes
Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with sound judgment, discretion, and empathy
Ability to independently manage escalations and resolve complex employee or operational issues
Proficiency with HR systems and standard productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace)

Base Salary Range
The base salary range for this position is: 22,577,800 to 28,222,300 HUF. This range is specifically for Budapest, Hungary.

We are seeking a hands-on, pragmatic HR Manager to support people operations in our Budapest office. This role focuses on core HR responsibilities, including employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning, while partnering closely with local and global stakeholders to deliver a strong employee experience.
The HR Manager will work in close collaboration with the EU Operations team and global HR Business Partners to ensure effective people practices and a well-run, compliant, and productive workplace.
