About the role
This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Interpreting and applying federal human resources laws, regulations, and policies related to executive staffing and classification; AND - Leading or administering executive-level human resources programs involving recruitment, staffing, classification, and position management for senior level positions (e.g., SES, SL, ST, or equivalent executive positions; AND - Developing executive position descriptions and conducting classification analyses; AND - Advising senior leaders and selecting officials on executive hiring authorities, qualification requirements, and assessment methods; AND - Supports Executive Workforce Planning and Program Improvement: Analyzes executive workforce data, succession planning needs, and talent management trends; prepares reports and data calls; and recommends process improvements to improve the effectiveness of executive resources programs. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
