JOB DESCRIPTION: CPHDS Administration is committed to providing oversight, management, technical support and guidance for division programs and bureaus. CPHDS Administration promotes operational and administrative efficiencies within the division by supporting the bureaus and programs in several key areas including budget administration, grants and contracts management, office administration, personnel services and procurement of goods and services. The unit also provides advocacy, guidance and support for bureau and program leadership by ensuring they have adequate resources to accomplish goals and assisting in resolving issues involving operations, productivity and technical matters. The Personnel Services Unit (PSU) has an opening for a self-motivated and energetic individual to serve as the Personnel Services intern who will provide administrative and operational support for the division with hiring new staff and supporting existing employees. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: - Provide new hire packets to staff and students; process the forms as needed and prepare ID requests. - Enter data for Tasks and Standards and confidentiality agreements and update PowerBI tracking sheet. - Enter data for Leave of Absences on tracking sheet and send notification emails as needed. - Assist PSU Manager in preparing new slide decks for new subjects or special program requests as they arise. - Monitor Administrative Service Request Center Radar for PSU requests. - Assist Director of Personnel Services with ad hoc projects as needed. PREFERRED SKILLS: - Experience with Excel and Power BI preferred. - Experience with Powerpoint or other programs for slide deck creation.
