Support preparation for client meetings, including identifying materials to use, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across materials, and coordinating inputs across teams
Prepare responses to regular and ad-hoc investor inquiries relating to existing portfolios' investments and overall positioning
Help coordinate materials for periodic client engagement such as LPAC meetings or co-investment opportunities
Contribute to fund brochures, talking points on salient topics, and other marketing and client-facing materials
Project Management & Execution
Contribute to a high-performing investor relations team by maintaining strong attention to detail and execution quality
Track deliverables and timelines to ensure timely reply to clients and timely completion of materials
Identify required information and coordinate across investment team, reporting teams, Global Client Group and other stakeholders to collate required information and present it to investors
Take ownership of the quality of the end-product, even when multiple teams have contributed
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
Insight Development
Develop a strong understanding of portfolio holdings, strategy positioning, and market dynamics
Support the team in synthesizing investment insights into clear, client-ready materials
Contribute to written commentary regarding the portfolios, building the foundation to participate more actively in client discussions over time
Develop sound judgment with respect to sensitive, client-facing matters
Requirements
2-4 years of relevant experience in a client-facing role in institutional asset management
Strong interest in markets and leveraged finance, with an ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
Ability to exercise good judgment regarding investor requests
Ability to interact with clients, investment teams and investors
Strong project management and teamwork skills
FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 63) or the ability to obtain them within a compressed timeframe
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), with the ability to create both client-facing and internal deliverables
Education
Bachelor's degree (major in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred).
MBA, CFA or other recognized advanced credentials is a plus.
Base Salary Range
$125,000 - $155,000
