Own inventory performance across raw materials, WIP, and/or finished goods
Establish and maintain inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, lot sizes)
Monitor and improve key KPIs such as inventory turns, days on hand, excess & obsolete (SSOS), and service levels
Lead root cause analysis for inventory variances, shortages, and overstocks
Support S&OP / IBP processes with inventory, demand and supply insights
Analytics & Reporting
Develop dashboards and reporting for inventory health, supply performance, demand variability, and forecast accuracy
Translate complex data into actionable insights for executives and operational teams
Build and maintain forecasting, trend analysis, and scenario models
Leverage advanced analytics to support make/buy decisions, network optimization, and capacity planning
Process Improvement
Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Standardize inventory and analytics processes across sites or business units.
Partner with IT and systems teams on ERP enhancements, data integrity, and automation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
Cross Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and Finance to align inventory strategies with business goals
Influence stakeholders through data-backed recommendations
Lead, mentor, and develop inventory and/or analytics team members
Performance Management
Define and track KPIs such as service level, schedule adherence, plan attainment, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.
Summarize root cause analysis for service failures or plan deviations.
Drive process improvements related to planning systems (ERP/MRP), data accuracy, and planning cadence.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, or equivalent experience in related fields
5-10 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or planning roles
2+ years of people leadership or project leadership experience
Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Ability to work with large data sets and apply statistical or predictive analysis
Requirements
Experience in alcoholic beverage bottling, packaging, or high-mix SKU environments.
Experience supporting new product introductions (NPI) and line expansions.
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
Experience participating in or leading S&OP / IBP processes.

The salary range for this role is Kentucky $94,200.00 to $117,800.00 . Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate's experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary:
The Manager of Inventory & Analytics is responsible for optimizing inventory performance through data-driven insights, ensuring the right balance of service levels, working capital, and operational efficiency. This role leads inventory planning, analysis, reconciliation and reporting while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory turns, and visibility across the network.
