Software Engineer - Industry

About the role

What will you be doing? Together with your fellow software engineers, you'll work on the development and implementation of control software for a wide range of electrical installations in industrial automation. You'll collaborate closely with clients, translating functional requirements into technical solutions within PLC and SCADA environments. Your responsibilities include: Translating customer requirements into concrete control solutions Developing and testing PLC and SCADA software (including Siemens/Schneider platforms) Performing functional testing at the office and on-site Commissioning software on location, working with the client and your team Actively contributing to the development of our internal standards and tools Keeping your knowledge up-to-date and sharing expertise within the team With your skills and dedication, you help create safe, efficient, and sustainable industrial processes. You thrive in project teams and enjoy bringing software to life - independently and collaboratively - both in the office and on-site. You bring: A completed HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or similar Experience with PLC/SCADA programming (Siemens, Schneider or similar) Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and commissioning Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Do you want to use your expertise in industrial automation to make a real impact in sectors like water, food, chemicals and manufacturing?
