Job Description Summary: Draper Laboratory is seeking talented and motivated individuals to tackle challenging engineering problems related to the verification and validation of advanced microelectronics. As a Senior Electronics Test Engineer you will be responsible for planning, developing, documenting, automating, executing, and analyzing complex tests for high performance analog and digital designs. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the microelectronic systems that Draper builds meet the challenging performance requirements demanded of them. In some cases you will focus on custom test solutions and in others on scaling test efficiency for production. You will need to think strategically about the best design for test practices that can be employed and analyze the test results to evaluate system performance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute to a variety of projects in different application areas. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities - Able to take ownership of assignments and guide others as needed; successfully lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule. - Derive plans, approaches, procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle, capturing all assumptions and adapting appropriately to changes in requirements with limited direction. - Independently contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations which shows an understanding of their task and an awareness of the intended audience. Demonstrates both confidence and success when presenting technical information during meetings with internal and external stakeholders. - Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies. - Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback - Performs other duties as assigned.
