About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Field Service Engineer to join the team in Oslo, Norway, on a fixed term contract from July 2026 to December 2027. Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Responsible for repair, install, upgrade, maintain and decontaminate medical devices distributed by Vantive. Ensure all activities are performed following the available instructions and information, within the quality system framework. (SOPs) Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques. Report all relevant service activity, to ensure updated and accurate service data in the service system. Plan and organize day-to-day activities on the field. Responsible for controlling own car stock. Responsible to control own ESD. Attending required training and meetings. Provide customer telephone support. Experience & qualifications Proven experience gained as a field service engineer in a medical environment is essential. Ability to use a wide variety of tools and test instruments Good written and verbal communication skills, both Norwedigan and English Basic computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel Proven troubleshooting skills
