You'll be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing multiple Mendix applications across different clients and industries. This role blends operational excellence with hands-on development - ensuring that what we build continues to deliver value every day. Your Role Take responsibility for the operation and lifecycle management of multiple Mendix applications in production across various clients. Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of live Mendix solutions through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. Diagnose and resolve incidents quickly , identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes. Collaborate with clients to understand evolving business needs and implement continuous improvements and new features . Participate in development projects to bring your operational perspective into the design and build phase, ensuring applications are maintainable and scalable. Manage deployments, environment configurations, and release processes in coordination with DevOps and platform teams. Automate repetitive tasks and improve observability through scripting, tooling, and monitoring solutions. Contribute to best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing within Zühlke's low-code community. Your Talent Proven experience in Mendix application development and a strong focus on operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management. Hands-on experience running Mendix applications in production - monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing live systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps) and cloud environments (Mendix Cloud, AWS, or Azure). Solid understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and system connectivity . Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term reliability. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with developers, operations teams, and clients. Proactive attitude - you anticipate issues, automate where possible, and always look for improvement opportunities. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Fluency in English. German is a plus.
