Torch Technologies is currently seeking a Junior Radar Systems Engineer to support the Tactical Missile Systems team on Redstone Arsenal. This position offers a unique mentorship opportunity to work alongside a senior radar engineer. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team. Job Duties: Integrate vendor-supplied RF models into a common simulation framework and scene generation environment. Develop new RF component models based on physics and math principles. Perform detailed analysis of RF models and algorithms and integrated system performance. Job Requirements: US Citizenship. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. 3+ years experience with software development, modeling and simulation, radar systems, RF phenomenology, and/or data analysis. Active Secret security clearance. Experience with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as an individual. Preferred Requirements: Experience effectively communicating complex topics. A strong interest or foundational experience in radar systems and RF phenomenology. Understanding of software integration, modeling and simulation, and analysis of radar systems and RF phenomenology.
