Maintain equipment while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures
Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations and report to supervisors.
Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
Follow company policy, processes and action plans as it relates to all plant machinery
Must follow and understand production daily goals and requirements
Perform general housekeeping
Understand and follow Work Instructions
Detect and report defective materials
Dispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containers
Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months - 1-year experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician

Position Overview
Maintenance Technician III trouble shoots electrical and mechanical systems within the plant. Maintenance Technician I will maintains production and facility equipment according to Company standards of safety and quality. Additionally, Maintenance Technician I supports an environment of continuous improvement by making and implementing suggestions.
Areas of Focus
Maintenance Technician III will follow the preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendation and industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment. Maintenance Technician I will comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE as well as understand and follow the Quality policy and Lean initiatives.
