Nau mai, haere mai ki a Fulton Hogan | Join us at Fulton Hogan We're looking for a Payroll Officer to join our Australian Payroll team based in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience, work closely with our Australian team, and develop your payroll expertise in a dynmamic supportive environment. This is a fixed term opportunity starting ASAP until end March 2027. Mō te tūranga | About the Role Due to an internal movement, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute to delivering accurate, timely payroll services for our Australian employees. This role is for an approx. 9-month duration. Ngā kawenga matua | Key Responsibilities: Own and manage allocated payroll cycle/s to ensure employees are paid in a timely and accurate basis by preparing and processing payroll in accordance with employment agreements; company policy; and legislation. This may include weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles. Collaborating across the team to complete pay cycles/manual payments, to resolve queries and maintain high service standards. Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | What We're Looking For Proven payroll experience in NZ and/or AU - ideally 3+ years processing payroll for 500+ employees. Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn - able to pick up new payrolls or tasks quickly.
