The skills you'll need
Additionally, you'll demonstrate:
Leadership in applying engineering best practice, especially around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability and performance
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences in a simple way
Expertise in the modern data stack covering advanced SQL, data modelling, database optimisation, Python pipelines, Airflow orchestration and dbt transformation
Proficiency in designing, building and operating cloud ‑ native data platforms on Azure using services such as Synapse, Azure Data Factory and AKS
Extensive experience delivering scalable batch and streaming data solutions using distributed processing frameworks such as Spark and PySpark
