Position Overview As the Cook, you will be an essential part of the healing journey, preparing and serving food that supports eating disorder recovery. Collaborating closely with the culinary and nutrition teams, you'll prepare high-quality dishes according to standardized menus and recipes, designed not only for nourishment but to meet the specific needs of each client's recovery. Your role goes beyond traditional cooking-every meal is an opportunity to restore balance, support healing, and help clients regain physical and mental well-being. Compensation Range: $24.00 - $28.00/hour Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position. Schedule Full Time - 32 hours per week Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Thursday and Sunday - Shift: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Friday and Saturday - Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm How Cooks Empower Recovery Prepare and serve food/beverages according to standardized menus, recipes, portions, and nutrition orders. Ensure culinary practices and prepared food/beverages comply with regulations (i.e., food code, HIPPA), internal policies, and nutrition orders (e.g., standardized menu/recipes, therapeutic diets). Collaborate with the culinary and nutrition team to ensure consistency, accuracy, safety, and adherence to nutrition orders. Maintain organization and cleanliness in culinary and dining areas, addressing issues promptly. Ensure punctuality and attendance for shifts, prioritizing client care and efficient time management. Provide coverage for other culinary roles when needed. Maintain professional boundaries with clients and their communities of support (e.g., parents, partners). Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and labeling, as assigned.
