About the role

Reporting to the Head of US Patient Advocacy & Government Affairs, as the Associate Director, Federal Government Affairs , you will support the development and execution of strategies to advance CSL Behring's interests in federal legislative and regulatory matters. You will manage key projects and relationships with federal stakeholders, industry associations, and advocacy groups to influence policy outcomes that impact patient access and company priorities. You can be based out of our King of Prussia, PA corporate headquarters or our Washington, D.C. office. This is a hybrid role, which offers a combination of an onsite and remote work schedule. #LI-hybrid Monitor and analyze federal legislative and regulatory developments affecting CSL Behring. Execute engagement plans with federal government officials, trade associations, and advocacy organizations. Provide policy insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders; prepare briefing materials and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, Regulatory, Communications) to align advocacy strategies. Represent CSL Behring in selected industry forums and working groups. Draft policy communications, testimony, and position statements as needed. Your Skills & Abilities: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in law, public policy, or health-related field preferred. 8-10 years of experience in healthcare government/public affairs or related field. Strong understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes. Proven ability to manage complex projects and build relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders. Excellent communication and advocacy skills. Strategic thinking and ability to influence policy outcomes. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
