About the role
The Utility Development Program Manager - On-Site Generation is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing QTS bridging power infrastructure projects, including data center on-site generation and utility bridging power initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned - Provide strategic Leadership and coordination with partners, consultants, and contractors to drive the successful execution of on-site generation and bridging power construction activities - Direct and manage the construction of multiple on-site generation and bridging power projects - Management of partners and consultants related to electrical substation design and construction - Lead in standardization of utility substation design, including distribution feeds to multiple buildings - Manage budgets and cost forecasting of utility projects, including construction and equipment - Develop transformer and equipment specifications - Procure substation long lead equipment and transformers - Procure and manage construction of multiple substation sites simultaneously - Track and report on status and schedule of power delivery timelines
