About the role

Job description: Partner with the Safety Manager to oversee safety, health, and environmental initiatives, ensuring full compliance with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act. Implement and monitor robust safety measures, driving a culture of accountability and vigilance on-site. Collaborate with stakeholders to align on safety goals and deliverables. Participate in daily toolbox briefings, conduct regular site safety inspections, document observations, and ensure timely rectification of issues. Identify training and certification needs to meet legislative requirements and HSE guidelines. Gain deep insights into work-specific risks and control measures, proactively mitigating hazards. Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending preventive actions. Oversee multiple sites simultaneously, ensuring consistent safety standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years working with a developer or main contractor (preferred). Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower, with at least 5 years of active practice. Proven experience developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan, such as bizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent. Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. Ability to pass internal security checks mandated by the Singapore Government. Valid Class 3 Driving License.
