Job Description
Position Summary:
Instructors are hired to teach courses in studio art, art education, and art history areas. This pool is for non-tenure track positions and is intended to collect applications throughout the year. The department draws from this pool if and when there is a need for a non-tenure track (and often temporary) instructor in a specific area of for a a specific class. There may be any number of reasons for this type of hire: temporary sabbatical replacement, instructor replacement, retirements, emergency medical leave replacements, etc.
