Your day at NTT DATA The Manager, Business Operations is a management role, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative, financial, people and procedural activities within a business area / division within the organization. This role leads efforts to develop and improve through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organizational resources. This role directs operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets and typically acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between Senior Management and employees. The Manager, Business Operations is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the organization whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence. Key responsibilities: Establishes and optimizes day-to-day operational activities, including revenue and sales growth, expense, cost and margin control and monthly, quarterly and annual financial goal management. Leads efforts to develop and improve through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organizational resources. Directs operations review of cost and service structures, productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned targets. Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations to meet budget and other financial goals. Supports with development and implementation of a system to track and report on the progress of strategic plan implementation. Ensures that all department heads are fully informed of the operational objectives of the business. Participates in the design and development of operational processes, policies and improvements related to these processes for each department in their domain. Manages and oversees the establishment of performance goals and allocates resources. Ensures that operational activities comply with organizational requirements for quality management, legal stipulations and general duty of care. Participates in acquisition and growth activities that support overall business objectives and plans. Advises the management team and/or department heads on key planning issues and make recommendations on important business decisions. Facilitates regular meetings with department heads to ensure that operational objectives are achieved. Implements all tactical human resource procedures, managing and leading team(s), setting goals and managing performance accordingly. Required experience: Advanced experience gained within a similar senior leadership role preferably within a similar global organization. Advanced hands-on experience in strategic planning, and business operations. Advanced leadership skills with excellent work ethic. Advanced experience with successfully managing budgets.
