A minimum of seven years experience with responsibility in a production / manufacturing setting is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of HACCP, GMPs and AIB.
Demonstrated leadership and team building skills to effectively supervise professional and non-professional staff. (if applicable)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and operating guidelines.
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as required.
Must be computer literate, able to interface with PCs, and understand all software packages specifically used by C.H. Guenther (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of Production, which includes converting raw materials into finished products that meet requirements for quality and cost.
Manages supervisors and team members in the consistent running of the various food processes that we employ. This is done through coaching and instruction as needed.
Facilitates all necessary training to support delivering the required KPI's (see Expectations below)
Responsible for ensuring consistent execution of policies and procedures through Team Leaders, and working with other managers including the Human Resource Manager.
Responsible for ensuring production schedule is met to deliver service expectations. Must be able to understand the impact of scheduling on other departments, and be able to effectively communicate and lead discussions to resolve scheduling conflicts that arise from downtime, test runs, sanitation, and other obstacles that may develop.
Develops and manages the departmental budget for material usage, labor, supplies, and training. In addition, this position is responsible for analyzing projected sales, and product mix trends to develop plans to minimize cost of manufacturing in these areas.
