About the role

At Dexory, autonomous robots are a critical part of our product offering. We design, build and test our robots in house in our Wallingford facility, The role will be based in our facility in Wallingford. The Stores Operative is a hands-on role that is an integral element of the day to day operational functionality delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within Dexory's production value stream The role covers all aspects of internal logistics from goods in to goods out and dispatch. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity for further career progression within the company, as we continue to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Managing receipt and distribution of incoming stock & materials E.g hardware / mechanical build components (i.e. nuts, bolts, hand and power tools, sheet metal, etc)
  • Carrying out basic goods inward quality check activities - such as documentation, part count, identification and condition
  • Validate kitting lists and reporting any discrepancies or errors
  • Accurate preparation of build kits, in readiness for production assembly
  • Performing regular and accurate stock taking duties
  • Prioritising deliveries and outgoing stock
  • Other (ad hoc)
  • Involvement in general stores activities
  • Any additional duties, whether functional or administrative, as assigned by management in a fair and reasonable manner

  • Good written & communication skills, with the ability to train and impart knowledge onto others
  • A team player with a flexible and proactive mindset
  • Able to prioritise tasks within a fast and challenging environment
  • Adaptive to change and ready to evolve as we scale up the stores & logistics functions within the business
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
