In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for MuleSoft implementations, defining architecture standards, governing code quality, and ensuring seamless knowledge transfer across factory waves. You will collaborate closely with on-site System Architects and Enterprise Architects, acting as the bridge between the factory team and product squads operating within a SAFe agile framework. A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) Role & Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership: Define and enforce MuleSoft integration architecture standards, API-led connectivity patterns (Experience, Process, System APIs), and best practices across all factory teams. Lead solution design reviews and validate technical approaches for new projects, evolutions, and technical debt reduction. Design end-to-end integration solutions on the Anypoint Platform, covering API design, DataWeave transformations, error handling, and connector configuration. Approve technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and code reviews produced by the team. Factory Management & Transition: Own the technical onboarding strategy and training curricula to ensure all factory developers maintain a high level of MuleSoft expertise. Pilot the Transition & Transformation (T&T) wave methodology: phasing, ramp-up pace, knowledge transfer planning, and wave sign-off deliverables. Set up and govern CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and software craftsmanship standards (code review, pair programming, TDD). Proactively propose AI-assisted development approaches to optimize delivery and reverse engineering activities during KT phases. Run, Incidents & Governance: Act as the ultimate escalation point (L3+) for complex production incidents on integration flows. Coordinate major incident resolution using swarming techniques and ensure post-mortem documentation. Participate in SAFe ceremonies: PI Planning, System Team meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure IS architecture compliance in collaboration with on-site System and Enterprise Architects. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise: 10+ years of confirmed, hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience (API Management, Runtime Fabric, DataWeave 2.0, MQ, API Gateway). Expert-level knowledge of API-led connectivity, enterprise integration patterns, and microservices architecture. Proven ability to design, review, and govern complex integration architectures across multiple enterprise systems. Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline setup (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent) and test automation. Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Anaplan, or equivalent. Mastery of software craftsmanship: TDD, code review, pair programming, automated regression testing. Delivery & Agile: Solid experience leading technical teams within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) delivery model. Track record of managing nearshore / offshore factory models with low turnover and high delivery quality. Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow in an agile product team context. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken (mandatory). Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management capabilities. High sense of ownership, quality orientation, and accountability. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer I or II. Experience integrating with SAP or Anaplan specifically. French language proficiency. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or automation frameworks.
