Description of Work Broughton Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Nurse Supervisor I to support our Therapeutic Response Team (TRT). The TRT Nurse Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising Health Care Technician Lead- Preceptors and oversight of TRT operations. The selected candidate will supervise and continuously monitor the delivery of nursing care, identify nursing and operational needs, and implement effective strategies to enhance TRT performance and effectiveness. This role will also oversee, evaluate, and strengthen precepting practices to support successful staff onboarding, training, and professional development. In addition, the TRT Nurse Supervisor will coordinate staff education and development initiatives while leading performance improvement efforts related to TRT interventions. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: -Serving as a professional resource to staff and continuously monitoring compliance with agency policies and standards. Leading employees by demonstrating a professional, caring approach, by listening, being accessible, and leading by example toward common short-term operational goals and objectives of the unit. -Advising and counseling employees on job performance and conduct, including TRT responses. -Collaborate with service area supervision to implement plans for employees to gain necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform their duties. -Listening, asking questions, and providing feedback to employees, giving clear and concise instructions. -Developing and maintaining effective communication and work relationships with physicians, upper management, healthcare personnel, patients, families, agencies, and others. -Assessing employee competencies and conducting/participating in management reviews. -Coaching, mentoring, and supporting professional development of nursing staff. -Delegating and assigning tasks. -Promoting communication as well as identifying and addressing quality monitoring and performance improvement issues. -Planning, coordinating and executing quarterly and ad hoc training to all TRT members. -Collect data regarding TRT performance and effectiveness. -In conjunction with Nursing Leadership, will set goals to evaluate TRT effectiveness and identify opportunities for performance improvement. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $71,698.00 - $118,304.00 *A Sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval. Conditional Requirements: Selected applicants must be able to pass a State Bureau of Investigation Criminal History Check, and complete and pass BLS/CPR training and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training during orientation.
