About the role

The Sampler is an entry-level position responsible for conducting basic inspection tasks on small vessels and barges. This role involves performing fundamental sampling and measurement duties under supervision, ensuring compliance with industry procedures, and supporting senior inspectors. The Sampler will work in various field conditions, including confined spaces and at heights, and must adhere to strict safety regulations. The position may require irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct basic sampling and inspection tasks on small vessels and barges. Follow defined procedures and client instructions for sampling and measurement. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and transportation of collected samples. Assist senior inspectors in more complex tasks as needed. Maintain accurate records and documentation of sampling activities. Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations. Participate in training programs to develop technical knowledge and skills. Continuously update knowledge and skills within the field. To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality. Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.
