Your day-to-day responsibilities Transcribing and transferring engineering procedures and processes from one platform to another Writing and structuring clear, detailed, step-by-step instructions based on existing materials Reviewing and refining procedural documentation to ensure clarity and accuracy Collaborating with domain experts and senior engineers to understand process details Clarifying gaps in documentation by asking questions and gathering information Ensuring documentation reflects real-life workflows, including verifying practices when needed This role requires careful attention to detail and the ability to describe technical processes at a granular level.
Requirements
- Ongoing or nearly completed studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
- Ability to understand, follow, and produce structured procedures and instructions
- Strong written English skills (reading and writing accuracy are essential)
- A systematic and detail-oriented way of working
- Proactive attitude: you raise questions, communicate actively, and take ownership of your tasks
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Unfortunately, due to this being an internship, we are not able to offer relocation for this position, therefore you must already be located in Finland

SUPO, where required) Why this role matters We are looking for an intern to join AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing)/ Mechatronics Intern to join ICEYE's AIT Engineering team for a 3-month assignment starting as soon as possible. The position is on-site in Espoo, and will be a Monday-Friday position, with standard office hours. We can discuss working arrangements to fit around study commitments.
