Responsibilities

  • Cost Control & Revenue Assurance
  • Oversee area and country cost accrual and billing accuracy & timeliness, ensuring operational and financial data integrity.

  • Financial Governance & Profitability Management
  • Financial oversight for Airfreight and LCL P&L, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Establish and maintain financial governance frameworks, including cost control, margin analysis, and revenue recognition standards within Air & LCL.
  • Monitor and analyse gross profit performance, trade lane profitability, and yield management metrics.
  • Partner with operational and procurement leaders to identify cost-saving and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and help minimize out-of-period and/or prior-period adjustments, including root-cause analysis.
  • Drive financial visibility and accountability through standardized reporting and analytics.
  • Business Partnering & Strategic Support
  • Partner with country leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for Airfreight and LCL.
  • Provide actionable insights to regional, area and country management regarding profitability drivers, trade lane performance, and customer contribution.
