Successful completion of an approved course of study in E lectroencephalography (EEG) .
One (1) year previous experience .
T hree (3) years previous experience .
Hours: Per Diem - Variable to include:
Mon- Friday 8hr shifts (Day/Evening)
Occasional request to do a test on the weekend

Duties and Responsibilities : The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list . Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Performs EEG studies in accordance with standard procedures and policies of the EEG Lab . The brain activity recordings are prepared for physician interpretation.
Appropriately uses the 10-20 measure system and is able to appropriately select monopolar and bipolar montagues for reading.
Reports gross abnormalities to the reading physician immediately .
Performs EEGs brain death determination studies following prescribed procedures, when request.
Able to identify artifact on tracing.
Uses AIDET to explain procedure.
Creates a calm and safe environment for patient testing.
Appropriately prepares files for physician interpretation.
Attends meetings as required .
