About the role
We are seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join our team supporting the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will provide critical technical expertise and support in the manufacturing, testing, and completion of equipment and components used in oilfield operations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical guidance and support for manufacturing completions of oilfield equipment such as perforating guns, ancillary perforating hardware, energetics, as well as testing and documentation required to support our products. Review and interpret engineering drawings, job orders, technical specifications, and industry codes (API, ISO, etc.) related to oil and gas equipment manufacturing. Collaborate closely with sales, production, quality assurance, and inspection teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing defects or non-conformities; lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Support the validation, testing, and certification of manufactured components in line with client and industry requirements. Assist in process optimization and implementation of best practices to improve manufacturing efficiency and product reliability. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and clarify project scope or specifications. Maintain accurate technical documentation, including inspection reports, test records, and compliance certifications. Ensure adherence to HSE policies and promote a safety-first culture within manufacturing operations. Provide technical input during project planning, including risk assessments and resource allocation. Interact directly with major service companies in a sales capacity to maintain our relationships, facilitate and increase future sales.
